Steps to make Steamed Chicken Momo:
For the Momo, 1st have to prepare the dough.
In a bowl mix the flour, salt and water and keep kneading till a soft but non sticky dough is ready.
Cut balls of equal size out of the dough and keep it aside for a while covered with moist cloth.
Then with the help of rolling pin flatten the dough balls into a circle of approximately 1 inch thickness.
Now, in a separate bowl mix all the ingredients of stuffing and put a spoonfull of it on top of each flattened dough balls.
Seal the ends in any way you desire.
Then place the momo inside a steamer and steam for approximately 15 mins.
For making thukpa, stir fry the spring onions in thick bottomed pan. Add the chicken stock bring it to boil and add seasonings. Finally add beaten egg and keep stirring constantly.
Prepare soup bowl by placing boiled egg noodle. On top of it pour the clear soup (thukpa).
For making tomato sauce, boil tomatoes and dried red chilies for approximately 3 mins.
Take out the tomatoes from water and remove skin. Also take out the chilies. In a mixture blend the tomatoes and chilies and add seasoning to your taste.
Serve the steaming hot momos with thukpa and sauce.
