The ingredients needed to make Fruit triffle:
  1. Get 1 litre Milk
  2. Take Custard powder 6 tbsp (vanilla flavour)
  3. Get Sugar 2 tbsp or to taste
  4. Make ready 2 tbsp Dry milk powder
  5. Take 1/2 tbsp Jelly (any flavour)
  6. Get 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
  7. Prepare For layering;
  8. Make ready Bananas
  9. Take Strawberries
  10. Get Peaches
  11. Make ready Grapes
  12. Prepare Apple
  13. Prepare Kiwi fruit
  14. Get Sponge cake
  15. Take Jelly 1 packet (banana or strawberry)
Instructions to make Fruit triffle:
  1. Prepare jello according to package directions,take out 2 tbsp of jelly and set aside,let rest of it to set and chill in a fridge - Dissolve custard powder into 1/4 cup of milk,set aside - In a pot,pour milk and bring to boil,add sugar and dry milk powder,allow sugar to dissolve - Add dissolved custard powder into milk,while stirring constantly, - cook on low heat,keep stirring till custard becomes thick and creamy,turn off the heat.
  2. Now add 2 tbsp of prepared jelly but not set and vanilla extract into custard,stir to mix,cover the pot and let the custard cool to room temperature,when cooled,give a quick whisk - To assemble; - Take a large glass bowl or individual glasses so,layers can be seen - Place the spong cake in the bottom of bowl or glass,spoon some custard mixture over the cake - Layer the fruits,and jelly,spread another layer of custard mixture,add jelly,cover the assembled trifle - Keep in refrigerator.
