  17. Prepare 2 Green chillies finely chopped

  19. Make ready 4-5 tomatoes
  20. Prepare 1 tsp Salt
  21. Get 5 Garlic cloves
  22. Get 4-5 Dry Red chillies
  23. Prepare 1 Ginger piece
Instructions to make Steamed Momos with spicy Momos Chutney:
  1. Make a smooth yet firm dough using all the ingredients mentioned for making the Momos. Cover and keep aside for half an hour or so.
  2. Meanwhile, for making the chutney, Add dry red chillies and tomatoes to boiling water along with garlic cloves and ginger too. After 15 minutes, peel the tomatoes and blend all of these to a smooth paste using the same water if needed. Season with salt and transfer in a serving dish.
  3. Heat oil and add garlic mince at first followed by the spices and the veggies. Saute all the veggies for a minute or two on a high heat before adding boiled and shredded chicken or boneless as I did. Garnish with coriander leaves and keep aside.
  4. Divide the dough into equal sized balls and roll each into a thin disc. Place the stuffing and shape into different styles of your choice and liking. I made almost many a different shaped Momos too.
  5. Boil water in steamer before you start shaping them so that the water gets heated up well. Steam each batch for 20 minutes. Serve hot with Spicy Momos Chutney. Enjoy!
