  1. Prepare 200 gms fresh Palak (spinach)
  2. Get 2 tablespoons fresh ginger garlic paste
  3. Make ready 1 tablespoon ajwain (carom seeds)
  4. Prepare 1 tablespoon jira (cumin seeds)
  5. Make ready 3 green chillies
  6. Make ready 1.5-2 bowl wheat flour
  7. Prepare 2 spoons Besan(optional)
  8. Prepare 2 spoons rice flour(optional)
  9. Prepare 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  10. Prepare to taste Salt
  11. Prepare 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  12. Get 1/4 th tablespoon turmeric powder
  13. Take as required Oil to fry
Steps to make Palak Puri (spinach puri):
  1. Wash spinach clean and grind it in a mixer along with Ajwain (carom seeds), jeera (cumin seeds) & green chilies.
  2. Take out the mixture in bowl. Add coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli powder(if want more spicy), salt as per taste and mix it well.
  3. Add besan and rice flour and keep adding wheat flour gradually to make dough. If dough is very loose, add little more wheat flour. Rest for 10 mins. Make small balls of dough and roll out in Puri.
  4. Take oil in deep frying pan and fry the puri on medium flame. Your tasty and easy Palak puri is ready. Serve with Dahi (Curd) or aloo sabji!
