Get 2 cup khoya/mawa
Make ready 2 cup sugar
Prepare 1/2 cup all purpose flour
Take 1 tsp green cardamom powder
Prepare as needed Few saffron strands
Get as needed Oil for frying
Prepare 4 cup water for sugar syrup
Instructions to make Khoya Gulab jamun:
First in large vessel add sugar and water mix and put it on high flame and bring it to boil.
Add saffron strands in it and boil it for 10-15 minutes on medium to low flame till it becomes little thick.
After 15 minutes turn off the flame and keep aside.
Now in a large bowl add khoya/mawa and knead it for 5-7 minutes with light hand. Now gradually add all purpose flour and mix it and again knead it well for 10 minutes to make soft dough.
Now put small portion of dough and shape it in round balls. Make all the balls with the dough without any cracks.
Now heat up a pan With oil and add the balls in it (don’t add too much) fry it on low flame till it comes in nice golden brown colour. Remove it.
Fry all the balls as same process. Now put all the balls in the sugar syrup nicely, leave it to soak the sugar syrup in the balls.
Now serve it in bowls and enjoy.
