  1. Take Pastry
  2. Make ready 150 g plain flour
  3. Prepare 50 g salted butter
  4. Get 1 tbsp water

  6. Take 250 g desiccated coconut
  7. Get 150 g breadcrumbs
  8. Take 6 tbsp golden syrup
  9. Take 50 g ginger
Steps to make Treacle tart:
  1. Add flour to bowl. Grate butter in on top and then use your fingers to work mixture into breadcrumbs.
  2. Add water and combine mixture into dough. Cling film and put in the fridge for 30 mins.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl.
  4. Roll out pastry to 1cm thinkness. Line in 18inch cake tin.
  5. Bake the pastry for 15 mins at 170C.
  6. Add filling to the pastry, and bake in the oven at 180C for 20mins.
