The ingredients needed to make Peri Peri Fries:
  1. Take 5-6 Red Chillies
  2. Get 6-8 small Garlic cloves
  3. Make ready 1 medium sized chopped onion Onion
  4. Prepare 1 tsp Paprika powder / Red Chilli Powder
  5. Get 1 tsp oregano
  6. Get 2 tbsp lemon juice
  7. Get 1 tsp vinegar
  8. Take 1 tsp crushed black Peppercorns
  9. Make ready to taste Salt

  11. Get 1 medium sized thinly sliced onions,
  12. Prepare 1 medium sized thinly sized capsicums,
  13. Prepare 1 tsp Salt to taste,
  14. Take 1 tsp oregano,
  15. Take 1 tbsp peri peri sauce,
  16. Take 2 cups Oil for frying
Steps to make Peri Peri Fries:
  1. Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a non-stick pan, add onion garlic and chillies.Saute for few minutes. Add to the pan red chilli powder, oregano, vinegar, salt and crushed black peppercorns. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Take it on a plate and cool.
  2. Grind the prepared chilli mixture, to a smooth paste. Add Limejuice once cooled
  3. Serve it immediately or refrigerate it for further use
  4. Wash potato and cut it into wedges or thin sticks.Add all diced potatoes into ice cool water and let it sit for 5 minutes to remove all the starch. It will make the fries crispy. Heat oil in a pan on high flame. Wipe excess water from the potato with a tissue paper and transfer it into hot oil, fry till it turns golden by flipping it occasionally. Remove on a paper napkin, wipe off the Excess oil and toss it in salt
  5. Further add 1 tbsp oil in pan. Sauté onions and capsicum until slightly cooked.
  6. Further in the same pan 2 tbsp Peri Peri Sauce and fried potatoes to the pan. Saute well and cook for a few minutes. Add the oregano and salt. Once cooked remove from the flame and add lime juice to it.
  7. Serve it immediately and relish the yummy hot 🥵 and spicy 🌶 peri peri potatoes🥔 Fries 🍟
