  8. Place a plate over the Tarte and swiftly top over. Allow the Tarte to fall onto the plate. - - Serve with Vanilla ice cream or whipped Chantilly cream.

Serve warm with a vanilla ice cream. There you have it - a Fig "Tarte Tartin" with melt-in-your-mouth pastry and sweet, delicious figs nestled in sticky caramel sauce.
