  2. Make ready 170 Gram Butter or Margarine

  12. Get 80 Gram Cocoa Powder
  13. Take Icing mix / topping
  14. Get 300 Gram Icing Sugar

  16. Get 100 Gram Cocoa Powder
  17. Take Trimmings
  18. Take 1 tub Glacé Cherries (halved)
  19. Prepare 1 packet Edible Eyes / Bassets Cocoanut rings
Instructions to make Spider Cakes!!:
  1. Start with orange Mix.. cream butter and sugar together until smooth. Take zest and juice from the oranges and add to mix. Add flour and mix to a smooth paste.
  2. Sort chocolate mix, cream butter and Sugar in a separate bowl. Add cocoa powder and eggs, mix to a smooth paste.
  3. Half fill 24 cake cases with chocolate mix, then add orange Mix.
  4. Partly mix the two together until swirled but not even
  5. Cook in Gas Mark 7/ medium hot oven for 10 minutes, then swop trays for a further 10 minutes until cooked, or until a skewer Inserted comes out clean. Leave to cool.
  6. Icing/ Frosting Mix. Mix the Icing sugar with the Cocoa Powder. Add enough water to make a smooth paste and add to top of cooled cakes.
  7. Add two, (or more!), glacé Cherry halves to each cake, to make “ bug out eyes”, smear with a little more Icing mix and stick Edible Eyes/ Cocoanut Kisses on..
  8. Break Matchmakers into 3 segments, poke 6 (or more), pieces In to each cake.
  9. Serve straight away or freeze for up to six months ! Enjoy!!
