Prepare 1 Cup whole Masaor dal
Take 1 chopped onion

Steps to make Masoor dal Amati:
Soak Masoor dal for 30 Min. Cook in pressure cooker till became soft.
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seed mustard seeds, Curry patta. Add onion fry it. Add Ginger Garlic and fry till golden brown. Now add chopped tomato cook for a minute then.
Now add red chilli powder, gram masala powder, dhaniya powder. sprinkle some water and fry it till oil separates from masala.
Now add cooked whole - Masaor dal, Kokum and water in masala. Now cook on low flame 10 minutes. Add chopped Fresh Coriander.
Serve hot with Rice.
