First step is making the caramel. On a pot over medium heat, put the sugar and let it melt and form a thick liquid.
Once sugar is dissolved, add the hot water and stir until the amount is reduced to 250ml then turn off the heat, add the butter and let it melt and well combined with the caramel. Let it cool!
Mix all dry ingredients and set aside
Beat the egg with condensed milk until it's fluffy, then add the dry ingredients gradually
Last but not least, add the caramel mix, and mix them well. You'll get a liquid form of batter (unlike a normal cake batter)
Pour the batter into a cake mold that you have greased with flavorless oil and bake for 30-45min on 180°C heat
Once it's done, place it on a baking tray, slice the cake when it's cool. Serve it with black coffee or tea ☕
