Instructions to make Mousakhan:

  2. While the chicken is roasting, chop the onions and fry until lightly caramelized.

  4. Slice the bread into long strips, making them about 4-5 inches wide. One at a time, press the bread strips into the chicken/onion mixture to slightly moisten. Then spoon some of the mixture onto the bread and roll like a cigar.
  5. Repeat with each bread strip, lining the rolls in an oiled baking dish side by side until you've used up all the chicken mixture.
  6. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are crispy. Serve alongside soup and salad for a complete meal.
