The ingredients needed to make Virgin Mojito:
  1. Take 1 Handful Fresh Mint
  2. Get 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  3. Get Lemon wedges
  4. Prepare Crushed Ice
  5. Get 1/4 Cup Lemon juice
  6. Prepare 1/2 Cup Cold Water
  7. Prepare 1 Cup Soda/ Sparking Water
  8. Get Sugar Syrup
  9. Get 1/2 Cup Sugar
  10. Prepare 1/4 Cup Water
Instructions to make Virgin Mojito:
  1. To make the sugar syrup. Combine sugar and water in a pot. Bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar completely. Take off the heat and set aside. Crush the mint leaves + 1 teaspoon sugar in a bowl using a small pestle to release the flavours of the mint.
  2. Add lemon juice, sugar syrup, sparkling water and cold water. Stir thoroughly.
  3. Strain the mixture to remove the mint chaff (you can leave it if you prefer). Pour ice cubes into glass cups, followed by the lemon wedges.
  4. Pour in the strained mixture. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
