The recipe is my Grandmother's, only difference is I have used a pressure cooker to make the soup. Steps to make Mutton bone soup/mutton bone Rasam:
  1. Wash the mutton bones.
  2. Crush or you can grind it all the above ingredients separately. Use mortar and pestle. Now keep everything ready.
  3. Heat a pan or pressure cooker add oil now add crushed cumin, pepper mixture saute it then add ginger, garlic, green chilli, shallots mixture saute it.
  4. Now add, curry leaves, Turmeric powder, chilli powder, Coriander powder, salt saute it now add chopped Tomato. Cook for few mins.
  5. Add the bones saute it now add 2 cupS water let it boil now pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles.
  6. Add chopped coriander and serve hot.
