  4. Preheat the oven to 200° and put the pie in for 20min.

Top off with pie crust pieces and cinnamon. For the apple filling: In a large saucepan, combine the water, juice, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Remove from the heat and let cool. Upon prepping the apples, sprinkle the lemon juice over the slices to prevent browning.
