Teriyaki Chicken is a very popular Japanese dish and is so easy to make. The sauce is just a mixture of soy sauce, sake, mirin and sugar. Just sauté the chicken and cook in the sauce (DO NOT marinate. Teriyaki Chicken is loaded with mouthwatering sticky, savory and slightly sweet chicken.

Instructions to make Chicken teriyaki:
  1. Heat cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Stir fry chicken until lightly browned and crisp.
  3. In a small bowl whisk together the soy sauce, sugar, Sake/vinegar and Mirin to combine. Set aside.
  4. Add the garlic to the same pan and saute until lightly fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  5. Pour in the sauce and allow to cook, while stirring, until the sauce thickens into a beautiful shiny glaze (about 2-3 minutes).
  6. Meanwhile slice the chicken and put on the top or steamed rice, pour the sauce springkle with the sesame seeds and lastly with spring onion.
  7. Enjoy
