  1. In a bowl mix flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Whisk well
  2. Beat egg, essence, butter and yogurt together. Mix with the flour mixture to start making a dough.
  3. Slowly add the coconut milk to the flour to make a dough. When it comes together knead until soft, about 5mins. Leave to rest about 10mins
  4. Heat oil in frying pan. It should not be very hot. Meanwhile divide dough into 4 parts. Take each ball and roll out, cut into shapes and fry in the oil both sides until golden brown. Do the same to the rest of the dough balls. Enjoy with tea
