  17. Make ready 1 tsp Dhaniya powder
  18. Get 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  19. Get 1 tsp Ginger and garlic paste
  20. Take 3 -4 Kesar strands
  21. Get 1/2 cup Milk
  22. Get 1 cup Curd

Vegetable Biryani is a rich and exotic rice dish with spicy vegetables. The saffron aroma makes this dish very inviting. Biryani is a popular Mughali dish that has been adapted by Indians. Vegetable and Paneer Biryani is a complete meal with grains, vegetables, and protein.

Steps to make Veg biryani:
  1. Soak rice in water and do preparation for gravy for biryani
  2. Take pan and put 3tbsp oil. When oil become hot put onion, Ginger and garlic paste,black pepper, half TSP shahi jeera, and saute onion till golden brown
  3. Now put potato and cauliflower and mix well for 2 mins
  4. Add beans and peas And mix well. And cover the lid and let it half cook for 10mins
  5. After 10mins add red chilli powder, dhaniya powder,garam masala powder and keep stirring it for 2 mins
  6. Now add curd in the gravy, and cook it for 2 mins.
  7. Curd should be smooth, no lumps should be there.and cover the lid till we cook the rice
  8. Put rice to boil on gas, make sure it should be half boiled
  9. When u cook rice don't forget to put bay leaf, black pepper, cloves,green cardamom,salt
  10. When rice is half cooked, take out extra water and separate the rice.
  11. We will be making biryani in 4layer
  12. Take handi for biryani
  13. Put one layer of rice and another layer of gravy, and pour Kesar strands milk over it and fry onion over it,
  14. Repeat the layers in same way. You will get 2layera of rice and 2 layers of gravy.and cover the lid and locked it with wheat atta from the sides or from the foil.
  15. Put it on a gas if the sole of ur handi is hard, or you can put it on tawa aslo so that ur rice not burn
  16. Keep it on gas for for 15-20 mins on low flame.
  17. Biryani is best served with veg raita.
