  2. Prepare oil
  3. Make ready cumin seeds
  4. Take hing / asafoetida
  5. Make ready curry leaves
  6. Take green chilli, ginger, garlic paste
  7. Make ready chopped green chilli
  8. Get Salt
  9. Prepare haldi powder
  10. Get chopped Coriander

Instructions to make Urad Dal (Gujarati Style):
  1. Clean, wash and soak the urad dal in enough water in a bowl for 30-minutes.
  2. Combine the urad dal and 1/2-cup water in a pressure cooker, cook for 5-whistles.
  3. Open the lid. Mix well.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, hing, curry leaves saute for 1-minutes
  5. Add green chilli, adrakh, garlic paste. saute for 2-minutes. add haldi powder saute for 1-minutes.
  6. Add urad dal, and salt, mix well. add chopped green chilli., add Coriander leaves. mix well.
  7. Serve hot with Rotla, gud, garlic chutney
